I have stayed at Hiraeth cottage 3 times now and each time I have a longing to return. It is so peaceful there and I wake to the sound of the stream and the birds singing
The welcome pack is always appreciated especially after a long journey from Cornwall. It is lovely to have everything I need there and nothing is to much trouble for Jen
Looking forward to the next time

I had the pleasure of staying at the cottage for couple of days, it was amazing. It's decorated in a very artistic and creative style, with many original features intact. The log burner is cozy and creates a nostalgic feeling in the evenings. There's a feast of colour, design and individual retro touches to stimulate forgotten memories, as well as inspiring one to explore your own creativity
The location is great for exploring the beauty of south Wales, close enough to towns and city, combined with a tranquil feel sitting out listening to the waters flowing close by. Definitely will be back to stay again.

I was a guest at "Hiraeth Cottage" for 2 nights in May and had a really special time. It’s such a unique place
"Hiraeth Cottage" is bursting with creativity and joy. Jens paintings and decorations are vibrant making the space cosy and a visual delight. The double bed is super comfortable and the bedding luxurious. And the location is a Welsh hidden gem and the babbling stream lulled me to sleep
Jen is a great host, on hand for any queries and also giving privacy to enjoy the peace and tranquility

After spending a few days in your beautiful cottage, it’s safe to say we will be back! The time and effort that has gone into making your guests feel comfortable is clear… we had everything we needed and more! The kids were happy and entertained with all the games, dvds, and instruments - especially the piano! (Poor neighbours 😂). I spent hours admiring the details, more so your amazing artwork. A park and pretty walk are just a stones throw away, and the tranquility of the stream outside the door was just perfection… Thank you so much for making our break exactly what we needed and allowing us to have our family time. We will definitely be visiting again soon 😊
